A.S. Lamba, Group Chief Executive & Whole Time Director, L&T – MHPS Boilers Private Limited said, “We are proud to extend our support to an organization like Annamrita who has been doing such a tremendous job. We resonate with the ideology of the organization and believe that ‘no child should go hungry’ and should get the education they deserve. We are glad that we could contribute our bit towards this cause and associate with it.”
Dhananjay Krishna Das, Vice Chairman, North India, Annamrita said, “Haryana is the biggest state in terms of meals served to the kids, as compared to other states where we have our presence. A well-connected network of vehicles is used to deliver mid-day meals on time and make sure the food is being served hot to students. In such a scenario, sticking to time is of utmost importance to us. We would like to thank L&T – MHPS Boilers Private Limited for extending their support and helping us stay ahead of schedule when it comes to delivering meals. Through such a CSR association, the organization is directly contributing towards eradicating malnutrition. Such acts of generosity help us expand our footprints by reaching out to more schools as well as students and serve them nutrition-enriched food.”
Annamrita has been at the helm of initiatives such as Zero Hunger Haryana which has received immense support from the public as well as the government. The foundation has been honoured by Lion’s Club, District Red Cross Society, Rotary Clubs across Delhi NCR and other prestigious organizations earlier for its outstanding work in different spaces.
Various ways in which corporates can support Annamrita’s programme via their CSR funds is by sponsoring a kitchen or vehicles or by contributing towards the deficit of funds.
